Physical Chemistry; molecular spectroscopy and modeling, NMR spectroscopy of peptides and antibiotics, laboratory automation.

Outside Interests:

Boy Scout Leader (Woodbadge Course Director), uniformed volunteer for the U.S. Forest Service with an emphasis on trail construction and maintenance, hiking and cross-country skiing, member of the Pomona College Choir
